Love and Boredom Index with Joshua Miller

In this feature, Ambit took a particular interest in Joshua Miller’s ‘Index Paintings’: an exercise in portraying different objects in various styles and techniques. Each work challenges our understanding of the subject’s nature. Overwhelmed by different reinterpretations, familiar objects are obscured and our knowledge of what they stand for is questioned.
