RIGHTS OF WORK
All work on this is site is copyright to the original artists, authors and poets, unless permission has been granted from elsewhere. Should we cite mistakenly, inform us immediately. We generally ensure a 6 month window of exclusively for print & online publication, and usage thereafter should be addressed to the original artist or author but please to attribute appropriately to Ambit wherever possible. We pay artists, authors and poets, and credit wherever possible. Should you be recirculating imagery, please attribute Ambit, and if doing so on social media, please try your best to tag both ourselves and those featured. We believe this is a common courtesy.
Prices on our website are set out in GB Pounds Sterling. We do not accept payment in any other currency, so fees may be added by Paypal and whomever you transact with for currency exchange and fees. We reserve the right to change any advertised price before you place an order. You are responsible for the disclosure and payment of any import duties or other taxes which apply in the country to which the products are delivered, however in the UK books and printed matter are still currently tax-exclusive, and in addition, we are a charity.
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund.
We endeavour to dispatch orders for physical goods as soon as we receive payment, however, our archive of vintage editions are held in our Norfolk HQ, from where there are generally two mailouts a week. This means the longest you may have to wait is over a weekend and a couple of working days, but we are generally post forty-eight hours of receipt of order. Unforeseen factors can disrupt postage, as we found with Brexit and Covid-19, therefore we only guarantee that all products will be dispatched within one week of receiving payment for the order. We will be putting processes into place to notify you by email when your order has been dispatched, and appreciate positive feedback. If customers have any special delivery needs, ie. gifts, birthday presents etc, we are always happy to oblige. Should these dispatched by certain dates, customers are encouraged to contact us by email in advance, or immediately after making their order, so we can personalise and deliver with due care.
We send packages as standard deliveries. Should you have a request for an alternative, please email. In the unlikely event that your product is lost or damaged in transit please contact us in writing. In the case of non-delivery please wait seven days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed. In the case of damaged goods please retain the product and contact us within forty-eight hours of receipt.
Customers have the right to cancel within seven days of their order, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If a customer does cancel their order, they will have their payment refunded as soon as any dispatched products have been returned to our office in the state they left the office in. We cannot be responsible for any returned goods which are lost-in-transit, so we therefore suggest return goods are sent by recorded mail or Special Delivery.
In all instances Ambit shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses, including but not limited to lost profits or other economic or commercial losses.
We request your name and address for us to deliver purchases to you, but we will not pass on these details to any third parties.
We use trusted third-party encryption for all financial transactions (e.g. subscribing and purchases).
